It is via the official website of the series that we learn, this Saturday, the release date of the anime Made in Abyss Season 2: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun (Retsujitsu no Ogonkyo).
A new visual was also unveiled for the occasion!
In addition, four new voice actors join the cast of the series:
- Toshiyuki Morikawa as Bondrewd
- Inori Minase as Prushka
- Eri Kitamura as Mitty
- Natsuko Hara as Meinya

As a reminder, Masayuki Kojima is directing this sequel at the animation studio Kinema Citrus. Haga Hitoshi is the assistant director. Hideyuki Kurata is writing the script while Kazuchika Kise and Yuka Kuroda are credited for character design. Kevin Penkin composes the music.
The Made in Abyss anime is adapted from the eponymous manga by Akihito Tsukushi, pre-published online since October 2012 on publisher Takeshobo's Comic Gamma website. In France, the manga is published by Ototo while the first season of the animated series as well as the movie Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Soul from the Depths are available on Wakanim.
