Origin
The Made in Abyss Season 2 anime is adapted from the eponymous manga by Akihito Tsukushi, which was pre-published online since October 2012 on publisher Takeshobo's Comic Gamma website.
In France, the manga is published by Ototo.
This second season is a direct follow-up to the film Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Soul from the Depths, available on Wakanim. The latter is itself following the first season of the series, also available in France on the same platform.

Made in Abyss Season 2 Anime Synopsis
This second season takes place after the events of the movie Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Soul from the Deep.
Riko, Légu and Nanachi are gradually recovering from their confrontation with the Lord of Dawn, the terrible Bondold.
Besides, Riko is now in possession of her own white whistle, created from the remains of Prushka.
More determined than ever to unlock the secrets of the Abyss, our three explorers are now on their way to the sixth level: the City of No Return.
According to legend, when a white whistle descends this low, it is said to be taking its last dive, for it can never return.
