It is via the opening of an official site that we discover, this Tuesday, the announcement of an anime adaptation for the light novel Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon (My Happy Marriage).
A first visual, an announcement video as well as the staff and the cast of the series have been unveiled for the occasion!
Thus, it is Takehiro Kubota who is directing the anime at the animation studio Kinema Citrus. Ami Sato, Yujin Onishi, and Momoka Toyoda are penning the script while Sachiko Yasuda is credited for character design, based on original designs by Tsukiho Tsukioka. Koshida Yuushi does the 3D and Evan call composes the music. HALKA conceives the design of kimonos.
As for dubbing actors, we find:
- Reina Ueda as Miyo Saimori
- Kaito Ishikawa as Kiyoka Kudou
For now, the release date of the series has not been specified.

This anime is adapted from the eponymous light novel, written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka, published since December 2018 by the Japanese publisher KADOKAWA.

Synopsis of Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon anime
Following the death of her mother, Miyo Saimori begins to live a real hell.
Forced to live with her father, her new mother-in-law and her half-sister, the young woman is reduced to the simple role of servant and is harassed daily.
Quickly understanding that she should live like this for the rest of her life, Miyo accepts her fate and decides to lay low while locking her feelings deep inside herself.
One day, he is told of his arranged marriage with Kiyoka Kudou, a man renowned for scaring women away because of his violence and cruelty.
